Long before cartoons were seen as children’s entertainment, they were a showcase for the music and culture of the time.
This unforgettable scene from Solid Serenade (1946) paired Tom and Jerry’s comedy with Louis Jordan’s hit Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby, creating one of the most iconic musical moments in animation history. With jazz and swing dominating popular culture, cartoons often borrowed directly from the sounds audiences loved most.
Nearly 80 years later, the sequence remains a perfect example of how music, humor, and animation can come together to create something timeless.
In 2015, an international team led by Italian photographer Filippo Blengini created one of the highest-resolution panoramic images ever captured—a breathtaking 365-gigapixel photograph of Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain in the Alps. 🏔️📸 The project, called in2white, required the team to work for more than 35 hours at an altitude of around 3,500 meters, enduring temperatures as low as -10°C.
To produce the final image, the crew captured tens of thousands of overlapping high-resolution photographs using robotic camera mounts, which were later stitched together with incredible precision. The result allows viewers to zoom from a full mountain panorama down to tiny details that would normally be impossible to see with the naked eye.
The project showcased both the beauty of the Alpine landscape and the extraordinary capabilities of modern panoramic photography, demonstrating how advanced imaging technology can reveal an astonishing level of detail on a truly massive scale. 🌍🔍

In 1969, Sugar, Sugar became one of the biggest songs in the world.
The catch? The band didn’t actually exist.
The Archies were fictional comic book characters brought to life through studio musicians, producers, and voice actors. Created by legendary producer Don Kirshner, the project was designed to avoid the complications that came with managing real bands. Instead, he assembled top-tier songwriters and studio talent to create a perfect pop record.
The result was Sugar, Sugar—a song that topped charts around the world and became the best-selling single of 1969, proving that sometimes a great song is all people need.
What started as a simple meme turned into something nobody expected.
After posting this Beatles-inspired metal edit, Shagohod went from getting virtually no streams to reaching tens of thousands of listeners across multiple platforms. It’s a reminder that sometimes one video, one joke, or one unexpected moment can completely change the trajectory of a band.
The internet may be chaotic, but every once in a while it creates stories like this.
Directed by BAFTA winner @___edit9 (Hal Watmough), and the first film in Beyond the Loop Season 2, our original anthology series.
An extraterrestrial force has arrived to challenge the planet's greatest. A universe Olympics, where Earth's species must prove their strength and intelligence against an otherworldly presence.
When Surfin’ Bird exploded onto the charts in 1963, it sounded like it came from another planet.
Built around frantic vocals, primitive riffs, and relentless energy, The Trashmen created something that felt completely out of step with the polished pop music dominating the era. Despite its chaotic nature, the song became a massive hit and earned a place in music history.
Years later, punk rock bands would embrace many of the same qualities—simplicity, speed, attitude, and raw energy—leading many fans to view Surfin’ Bird as one of the earliest examples of proto-punk.
What happens when you combine music, creativity, and a group of very happy dogs?
Pedigree turned a simple observation into a brilliant idea by creating an orchestra where wagging tails became part of the performance. By capturing real reactions from dogs and matching them to different musical moments, the campaign transformed everyday canine behavior into something surprisingly artistic and entertaining.
It’s funny, wholesome, and a reminder that joy can be found in the simplest things.
