Krish Himmatramka founded Do Amore, an ethical jewelry brand that uses recycled metals and ethically sourced or lab-grown diamonds to craft engagement rings. Each purchase helps fund clean water projects in underserved communities. Inspired by his time on oil rigs and witnessing water scarcity in India, Krish launched the company in 2014 with $18,000 of his own savings.
In March 2022, he pitched Do Amore on Shark Tank, asking for $600,000 in exchange for 6% equity. Guest shark Daniel Lubetzky offered the full amount for 15%, with 3% pledged to charity. Krish accepted, but the deal ultimately fell through.
Despite that, Do Amore has thrived, generating over $12 million in sales by 2022 and expanding into necklaces and earrings. The company has brought clean water to more than 20,000 people in 11 countries proving that love and impact can go hand in hand.
