I had the opportunity to test @openart_ai Director in early access before its official release.

What makes Director different is that it feels less like prompting an AI and more like directing a film. You can describe an idea, a mood or even just a single scene, and Director helps turn it into a complete cinematic sequence with consistent characters, environments, camera work and storytelling.

For this film, I explored a nostalgic and emotional story, focusing on atmosphere and visual storytelling rather than dialogue. Director handled the pacing, composition and transitions in a way that made the entire process feel surprisingly natural.

To me, Director is less about generating clips and more about making creative decisions. It gives you a space to experiment with stories, refine ideas through conversation and shape scenes as if you were sitting in the director’s chair.

Today I tested **OpenArt Director** @openart_ai in a way that really felt like directing a film.

For my new AI girl group project, **A5ia @a5ia_girlband — Five Nations, One Voice**, I created five characters from five different countries: Korea, Indonesia, China, Japan, and India.

Each member has her own identity, language, voice, styling, and world.

Then I uploaded a 1-minute trailer song, mapped the lyrics, assigned the voices, and the simple story board. Then Open Art guided and made the scenes one by one.
Not just “make a video,” but actually building a cinematic trailer with characters, timing, story, performance, and emotion.

The result is still a first test, but it already shows something exciting:

AI video creation is no longer only about generating beautiful shots.
It is becoming a real directing workflow.

From characters, music, language, scene planning, visual style, and editing direction — everything starts to feel like a real production house inside one tool.

This is why I believe AI filmmaking will move faster than ever.

What if a simple cat chasing a fish became a full animated movie scene? 🎬🐟🐱

For this project, I directed the overall vibe to feel like a modern animated feature film: warm Mediterranean atmosphere, playful comedy, emotional character moments, and escalating cinematic chaos. Every shot was designed with intention, from the camera language and pacing to the mood and visual storytelling.

The goal wasn’t just to generate a video. It was to direct a complete scene with characters, emotion, action, and a clear narrative arc.

Very excited to share my very first short film: Wondoddia: A Brief Introduction.

I've been exploring Wondoddia for nearly three years now. Whenever I get tired of the real world, I somehow end up back there. Over time, I've created thousands of images from this strange little country, and for a long time I've wanted to make a documentary about it.
Until recently, I wasn't quite sure how.

This film was made using @openart_ai 's upcoming tool, Director, and it was my first real experience with vibe directing. Instead of getting lost in technical workflows, I could focus on what I enjoy most: building worlds, shaping scenes, and guiding a film through ideas rather than complicated production steps. It was one of the most enjoyable creative processes I've tried in a long time.
